I am a local artist who has been working in various media for over thirty years.

Most of my previous work has been sold to private collectors.

My new series consists of large acrylic canvases with multi-layers of transparent color, permitting the images to expand spatially. Forms occur by letting the paint literally flow, spread, and unfold to create images. Thinning the paint allows me to layer color over and over again. This method creates fluid movement, space, and images; vigorously layered marks, lines, and strokes on colored surfaces. I mix my colors but do not choose them in advance. I want my paintings to be abstract, free, spontaneous, full of light, air, and beautiful color.

Every painting is a new and wonderful experience for me.
